For Fall 2019, Jun Takahashi gave value to the feeling of all-runner for getting peace in what they love to do and took this feeling to tangible through their pieces. He gave him a physical incarnation by way of graphic inspirations for the latest collection of GYAKUSOU offering a rebellious and daring spirit through the evolution of running since 1970. This was the decade that running emerged as an internal search completely disconnected from competitions, and this enduring energy represents the point of focus for future generations of runners. The acronym GIRA (Gyakusou International Running Association), which is embodied in the collection, represents the members of the running clubs who value the running for their intangible benefit of finding inner peace.
The duality of the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 Trail is captured by its two colors: classic red and earth tones. Additionally, Takahashi added a pink with spines a designer's iconic design to demonstrate its balance sheet essence/chaos. They also have overlays located in areas of the shoe where the trail runners need support and reinforcement, it also leaves open spaces in parts where the foot shows high temperatures. The top mesh is treated with a water-repellent layer and is made with quick-drying materials.
